  SA: Spring Festival

  10:30am to 8pm

  1. St Theodore’s, 46 Prescott Terrace, Toorak Gardens

  The Annual RSCM Spring Festival – Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Gabriel Fauré.

  Come & Sing his glorious Requiem under the baton of Alex Roose, with organist Andrew Georg (St Peter’s Cathedral) and a chamber orchestra.
  
  The day also includes a workshop on performing the Psalms of Ascent, with Rev. Dr. Melinda Cousins.

  We will be using the brand new RSCM edition of the Requiem, kindly lent by St Peter’s Cathedral Choir – scores will be provided.

  Schedule 

  10am to 1:30 pm Registration, rehearsal & morning tea 

  1:30 – 2:30 pm Lunch (provided)

  2:30- 4pm Workshop with Dr Cousins on Psalms of Ascent

  4 – 5:30 pm Afternoon tea/dinner 

  5:30 -6:30 pm Revision (this may go a little longer – as this will be with the chamber orchestra) 

  7 pm Requiem service lead by Rev. Joan Claring-Bould

  Tickets:
  RSCM SA members $30 (including for members of RSCM member choirs)
  Non-members $50
