    NSW: Lamentation and Joy (Early Music, Young Elite Musicians)

    After many months of not having sung together, the young Lay Clerks and Organists of 
    St Andrew’s Cathedral,
    St James’ Church King St and 
    Christ Church St Laurence

    are putting on an exciting concert on
    Saturday 7 November 7pm at
    St Andrew’s Cathedral.

    Joined by early-instrumentalists and brass players from the
    Sydney Symphony Orchestra,
    Opera Australia Orchestra,
    Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and
    London Symphony Orchestra, 

    programmed are
    exciting antiphonal Gabrieli motets,
    Allegri’s ‘Miserere’,
    Bach’s earliest cantata,
    Tallis’ ‘Lamentations of Jeremiah I’ as well as
    Bach’s beloved motet ‘Jesu Meine Freude’.

    They will be limiting the number of people in the Cathedral in accordance with current Public Health Orders and ensuring appropriate physical distancing at all times. Hand sanitiser will be available and audience members over the age of 12 are required to wear masks.
