  ACT: Organ recital by Martin Rein

  Martin Rein studied conducting and organ performance extensively in Europe before moving to Australia. He is currently a doctoral student in Educational Psychology at the University of Wollongong, and recently joined the residential staff at the Canberra Grammar School.

  As an organist, Martin Rein has given performances at many locations across six continents. These include prominent locations such as Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, St. Paul’s Cathedral London, both Cathedrals in Berlin and Notre Dame in Paris.

  This hour long recital will include works by J.S. Bach, Max Reger and Charles-Marie Widor as well as two Improvisations. The first a spontaneously self inspired piece. The second based on a tune given by a member of the audience.
