St Philip's Anglican Church 3 York St Sydney (enter from Jamison St)
A fun and practical day for all who use their voices!
Michael Fulcher
will present an interactive workshop
on
Healthy Voice Production
for Contemporary AND Classical Singers.
After the enormous success of his workshop at SydneyInspires, noted Melbourne-based conductor Michael Fulcher will be repeating his greatly appreciated and practical workshop. Expect insights into ‘Primal Sound – accent method breathing‘.
Penelope Mills and Tiarne Tranter
will present an interactive workshop
on
Applying Vocal Techniques
for Traditional AND Contemporary Worship.
Who could forget the extraordinary contributions of Penelope Mills and Tiarne Tranter at Inspires either?
Penny enchanted us all with her solos in the St Matthew Passion, but wowed us further the next day at Prom Praise, in Handel’s glorious ‘Let the bright Seraphim’ and ‘Eternal Source’.
Tiarne, who is the lead singer with famous Sydney worship group CityAlight, equally thrilled us with her effortless vocals in Prom Praise. Both of these artistes will run practical sessions on vocal health for choir members, how to sing contemporary songs, and vocal techniques.
All three of our presenters are uniquely qualified to bring out the best in us- whether we sing in a band, choir, director or soloist, there will something for all who wish to use their voices better.
The cost of the workshop includes all practical sessions, refreshments and all materials.
The programme is:
