The Western Australian branch was formed in December 1956,and the committee is based in Perth. An important part of the annual program of activities is the Annual Chorister's Course, usually held in a country location. A history of the branch has been recorded by Barbara Good in: Served with Joy: The Story of the Royal School of Church Music in Western Australia (© 1982).
Each year in July the Western Australian branch runs an annual Junoir Choristers Course which is open to all young people interested in church music. For more information check the website here
