While events and information will be posted here, you can also follow the WA Branch Facebook Group here.

The Western Australian branch was formed in December 1956 and the committee is based in Perth. The branch committee organises an exciting program of activities which includes a Choral Festival, tours of local churches and workshops on hymn singing and choosing music for worship.

An important part of the branch program is the annual Choristers’ Course, usually held in a country location. The course is held each year in July and is open to all young people interested in church music.

This year’s camp will be held in Narrogin from July 4th to 9th – you can download the sign-up form here. For more information please contact Lucas Phillips at wa.choristerscamp@rscmaustralia.org.au or via the camp Facebook Group.

A printable version of the flyer can be downloaded here

There’s also a DL (triple-fold) version which can be downloaded here

A history of the branch has been recorded by Barbara Good in Served with Joy: The Story of the Royal School of Church Music in Western Australia (c 1982 & 2006). For more information contact the branch secretary.
