
The centre for accommodation and activity at the Canberra Summer School will be Bruce Hall on the Australian national university campus.

Bruce Hall offers:
Great Hall (pictured above)
– seats 200+ people
– has outside area also
– fully catered breakfast, lunch, dinner (and able to do take away lunches for those off site)
– grand piano available
– may be used for rehearsals
Accommodation
– basic dormitory style accommodation with single rooms and shared bathrooms
– can offer rooms for the day before and day after school ends for those who wish to stay longer
– a very limited number of ensuite rooms, double rooms or double rooms with ensuites will become available, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We will not know exactly how many rooms for several weeks yet. A form is available here for anyone who wants to add their name to a waiting list for ensuite/double rooms. Those who do get a room will be invoiced separately from their registrations at a later date for the additional cost, so do not wait to register!
- A double room, to accommodate a spouse or travelling companion not attending the summer school, will cost an additional $675 for the 6 nights (meals for the second person included).
- Ensuite rooms (single or double) will cost an additional $120 for the 6 nights.
- The cost for an additional night at the start or end of the school would be :
- $65 for a single room (room only),
- $95 for a single room (including dinner and breakfast),
- $130 for a double room (room only),
- $190 for a double room (including dinner and breakfast),
plus a $20 surcharge for rooms with ensuites.
Parking
– large car parks either side of the hall (drivers will be given parking permits)
