Around our Annual General Meeting (AGM), we have a very special start to the RSCM year in NSW.
Andrew Lumsden, who directs the music at the massive and prestigious Winchester Cathedral in the UK, will guide us through preparation of Evensong from 2 pm to 4 pm. (Come from 1:30 for registration.)
Planned repertoire is Stanford in A (two editions here*) and Wesley’s ‘Ascribe unto the Lord’ (three editions here*).
*Links are for general information only, and have not been specified.
Then there’s tea and talk – from 4 to 5:30, afternoon tea and our Annual General Meeting.
From 5:30 pm, Evensong will commence.
If you’re an RSCM member, come with $20 for the workshop. Visitors: $30.
RSVPs welcome, as above.
You need to be a paid up member to vote at the AGM.
All are welcome to Evensong.
St James’ Church (St James, King St) is the famous one after which St James station is named.
Martin Place station is also very close.
